DPA SHALL ONCE IN A WHILE RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING MEMBERS

In the past three years that DPA has been active on the Nigerian stage,  there have been some members who have stood with us despite all the odds.  These are usually those who came to DPA just to see how they could help others. They did not come for only what they will get for themselves. Over the years, we have seen some members comes in full of praises and sycophancy in the beginning. But they also came with the wrong expectations of benefits or power within the group. And when they don't get these fast enough,  they turn into enemies of DPA. But there have been great people in this group.  They look out for others. They ask for ways to support the group. And they never turn against us. We need to acknowledge and recognize these loyal members of our group who have proven themselves to be great advocates of justice. We will start today with the first such person to recognize.  We are nominating Victoria Shirmer,  whose picture appears below, as a member to be acknowledged and recognized. Victoria Shirmer joined DPA in 2016. She has been active and hardworking. She is always looking for how to help another member in trouble.  She is always there when there is need for action.  When we called for e-protest, she is there. When our Founder was arrested by the Abuja police in 2016 in an effort to force DPA out of Chacha case,  Victoria Shirmer called the United States Embassy in Abuja to notify the Embassy.  Victoria has helped several DPA members by paying for their registration.  Throughout the time,  Victoria has never attacked DPA or its admins publicly.  Instead,  if there was anything she wanted us to do differently,  she would send a private message to the Admin or the Founder.  She is an exemplary member and we hereby nominate her for recognition and appreciation.  May God bless Victoria Shirmer and may God bless DPA.   NOTE that Victoria has never met the DPA Founder in person.
